Ships being unavailable, fast special trains, for the first time in histduy, are conveying cotton from the Southern States to New York. When, during the last week, the Federal prosecution of the "bull" leaders was temporarily suspended, cotton advanced five dollars a bale, making July cotton 16Va cents per pound, the -highest since the Sullv boom of 1903. Dealers in New York clear four dollars a-bale on the fulfilment of July contracts.
