When, during the last week, the Federal prosecution of the "bull" leaders was temporarily suspended, cotton advanced five dollars a bale, making July cotton 16Va cents per pound, the -highest since the Sullv boom of 1903. Dealers in New York clear four dollars a-bale on the fulfilment of July contracts.
