PETROLEUM NEWS.

The deputation from the Taranaki Petroleum Company, which leaves ior Wellington this morning to interview the Ministry, will take two sets of samples of the crude and refined oil and its products, as well as a quantity of burning oil, with which it is intended to grve an exhibition of its properties in the lobby of "the House" for the edification of members of Parliament. 'No. 2 well is still flowing steadily.
