FOOTBALLERS' BRAKE CAPSIZES. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received July 18, 8.35 p.m. Hobart, Last Night. The horses attached to a brake containing twenty footballers bolted, capsizing the vehicle. Six were severely injured. CRUSHED TO DEATH. Perth, July 18. The gas company's trouble is over except regarding some strikers whose pla«oe have been filled. They will be tarcen on as vacancies occur. VALUABLE PEARL. Perth, .July 18. A pearl of perfect form valued at £(S000 has been found. THE FRENCH EXHIBITION. Melbourne, July IS. The Commonwealth has secured space at the French Exhibition at Roubaix next year, and will display wools and woollens.
