A Melbourne trust proposes to acquire the Mercantile Bank assets for, inter alia, £24,086, payable by the issue to the Mercantile Bank of 120,330 trust shares enabling a distribution of nine fully-paid four-shillings shares for each pound share. The trust also proposes to issue by way of dividend new debenture stock representing to a considerable extent the difference between the trust's share capital and the value of assets after the Mercantile Bank has been absorbed.
