The Egmont A. and P. Society asked for information regarding the milk testing competition held by tne Society.— The secretary is to supply the information.

A resolution was passed to the ell'eet that the Society was in favor of the local Bill being passed to enable the reserves suggested to be leased.

The secretary stated that he had written to Hobart and America re methods of destroying blackberries, out so far no communication had been received. It was decided to vote 10s each to the funds of the Taranaki Horticultural and Poultry Societies for use of trestles, etc., and £1 Is each to the Garrison Band, Orchestral Union and Perry's Orehestra. Thanks were accorded to the Tradesmen's Association (and particularly to Mr. Goodacre, .president) for the trounle taken over the tradesmen's exhibit; to Mr. G. YV. Browne, and to Mr. P. YY r . Sandford. Accounts to the amount of £l5O Os Id were passed for payment. The following new members were elected: Messrs. C. M. Hill, <J. Garcia, J. YV. Rixon, J. F.. Eustace, G. YV. Browne, R. Campbell, G. F. Giddy, G.« Curtis, J. Buttimore, R. Davis and R. Bielby.

Committees were then arranged *s follows Committee: The following additional names were added— Messrs. G. YV. Browne, F. Orbell, A. N. Mills, E. Griffiths, R. Cornwall, H. Joll, E. Eller.m, J. J.
