" ROBBERY UNDER ARMS."
I BOYS, CHINAMEN, AND A REVOLVER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Monday. Two sturdy lads named Charles King and Frank Dean, aged seventeen and eighteen, yesterday burst in upon three Chinese in their own hut at Paraparaumu and demanded money at the end of a revolver. ' The Chinese fled in terror from the house, and the boys left soon \ after without having taken anything from the house. The Chinese then chased the boys, King firing on them without doing damage. The youths were subsequently arrested. Dean and King were charged with attempted robbery under arms at Paraparaumu, and remanded to appear at Otald next Monday. Bail was accepted for £25 each.
