THE WORLD'S GRANARY
CROP PROSPECTS. By Cable.—Press Association.^Copyright Received July 11, 11.-20 p.m. New York, July 11. Copious rain has fallen in the middlewest States. The Daily Mail's Winnipeg correspondent reports that eight and a-half million acres are under wheat and other grain. Those in touch with the crop conditions estimate the yield in Western Canada at a hundred million bushels. Little rain has fallen in the last week, and the conditions may become worse. Coarse grains promise a better yield than wheat.
