The Daily Mail's Winnipeg correspondent reports that eight and a-half million acres are under wheat and other grain. Those in touch with the crop conditions estimate the yield in Western Canada at a hundred million bushels. Little rain has fallen in the last week, and the conditions may become worse. Coarse grains promise a better yield than wheat.
