Harvest fell, and brought down E.vot and Riverhank, the latter being so badly injured that he had to be shot Grafnax gomg splendidly, continued in the lead, the nearest upon hira being Kororoit, until the latter ran off. Graf, nax. increasing his advantage, led bv three lengths at the six furlongs from Ripon. followed by Squirm, Workmaster am J £o7ifedernte. At this stage Stately ■ and Nigel fell. Ripon came down'at the next fence. Half « mile from 'home l.rafnax was showing the way to Lyeaon, Generality Sevmour and Work- • master, and they crossed the last fence 111 that order.
