The telephone flat rate will be abolished on September 1. The toll system without free calls will be substituted. NEWCASTLE COAL EXPORT. Sydney, July 7. The coal export from Newcastle for the last six months shows a comparative decrease of 403,000 tons.
NEW SOUTH WALES SAVINGS BANK. Sydney, July 7. The deposits ii the Government Savinirs' Bank nt the end of last year totaled £13.303.421. Deposits exceeded withdrawals by £831,324. It is intended at an early date to introduce the home savings bank system.
