IMMIGRANTS FOR THE DOMINION
THE NAIRNSHIRE'S LIS*. ■ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland; Last Night. The Nairnshire arrived from Liverpool via Australian ports, to-dav, and brougttt 47 immigrants to New Zealand—27 for Auckland, 3 for Napier, 5 for Wellington, 2 for Dunedin, and 10 for the Bluff. The Auckland section consists of farmers in the main, there lieing but seven ' or eight mechanics, the majority of whom are engineers. There are two large families of farmers who intend going infor agriculture and dairying in a big way. The Auckland immigrants have consider- V able capital, the more wealthy having > sums well into four figures. Of the ten immigrants for the Bluff, eight were as- . sisted by the Government, and their capital is very little. '
