AMUSEMENTS.

TO-NIGHT'S ENTERTAINMENT

A good evening's amusement is promised to all those, who patronise the en- . tertainment to be given 'in St. Mary's Ball to-night. The first part of the programme will consist of songs, instrumental items, and recitations by leading amateurs. Miss Clarice Buckman has consented to sing Mr. Alfred Hill's "Poi Song," the only pakeha song really instinct with Maori life and music in existence. A short comedy, "Browne with an 15'," will be given in the second / part. This is a very amusing little play, and has been in active rehearsal for some time past. Parts will be taken by Mrs. Sonthall, Misses B. and F. Evans, Messrs. Southall, Nixon, and Guy. The proceeds are' in aid of the organ fund.
