The New Zealand team, which concluded its Australian tour on Saturday, has the following record of its matches: June 11: v. New South Wales, won by 21 points to 8. I June 15: v. New South Wales, won by 17 points to 11. June 18: v. Queensland, won by 19 points to 15. June 22: v. Queensland, won by 21 points to 3. ' ' June 25: v. Australia, won by G points to nil. June 27: v. Australia, lost by-,11 points to nil. June 2: v. Australia, won by 28 points to 13. Summary.—Played 7 matches, won 6, lost 1; points for 112, against 61. OUTSIDE MATCHES. Auckland.—Parnell defeated City by 13. points to nil. University beat Grafton by 19 points to 5, and Pfmsonby beat Marist Bros, by 24 points to nil. Dunedin. —Alhambra (13) beat Zingari Richmond (3); Southern (6) beat Taieri Rovers (3); University (16) beat Dunedin (6); Union (6) beat Pirates (3); Port Chalmers (5) beat Kaikorai (0).

On Saturday afternoon the Sole Cup competition was continued, Rovers meeting Civil Service in a very even and interesting match, Rovers winning by 11 points to 5. D. Webster scored two tries, and F. Loveridge on£, for the winners, L. Hill converting one. Chamberlain scored for the Service, Honeyfield converting. Mr. Thompson refereed. Pirates forfeited to Warehouses. THURSDAY'S MATCHES. It is the intention of the Otago Rugby Football Union to endeavor to suppress the spectator who gives the referee the benefit of free advice, liberally intermixed with judicious or injudicious adjectival comment.
