DEPUTATION OF TRAMWAY MEN. By Telegraph-—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A deputation representing electric j tramway employees throughout the Dominion, waited on the Minister of Publie Works (the Hon. R, McKejizle) to- -, v < night, asking for the insertion of a , number of provisions in the promised Tramways Bill. They asked for an uppeal board, without power of veto, the '*■ appointment of a Government inspector to overlook the various tramway services throughout the country; a thorougli system of training for motormen, - I and the granting of certificates upon , examination, and. action in respect of 1 the speed limit. ' The Minister promised that the depuItation's representations would be care--1 fully considered. He would have a Bill I drafted and submitted to the House as • , soon as possible, in order to get it re- >• ' ! ferred to a special committee. 1
