On Tuesday, July 12, an evening meeting will be held in the Baptist Church, at 7.30, to suit members who are unable to attend in the daytime. Members living on the South road will soon have afi opportunity to meet at the home of one of the members. Correspondence was read from the 1.0. G.T. Lodge, inviting members to the kindred society's evening on July Cth to hear the report of the no-license delegates to the recent convention in Wellington, also a reply to the enquiry respecting goods forwarded to the London poor. Correspondence was also read from the treasurer of the organising fund, the Backblocks Superintendent, Wellington Householders' Tongue., *>the managers of White Ribbon day, good citizenship, and other departments of work.
