OLD BUILDING GUTTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. • Wellington, Wednesday. An old wooden building at Lower Hutt, owned by N. Pringle, was gutted j by fire'late,-last night, it was insured! for £7OO in the State Office. A portion of the building was occupied by McKain, saddlers. Their stock was insured in the Alliance for £-300, Allen and Judd, plumbers, occupied another part of the building. Their stock was insured for £SO in the Queensland Office. Barnes, artist, lost a number of pictures. If your property is not insured, caff at or ring up the-United Insurance Company, Ltd., Devon-street. Telephone No. 198. Webster Bros., district agents.
