DIVORCE CASES. By Telegni;il)--l > rpss Association. Wellington, Tuesday. In the Divorce Court to-Uay decrees nisi were granted in the following cases: —Agnes Dawson Welsh v. Ralph Dawson Welsh, on the ground of mis-con-duct; Frances Glover and Walter Glover, misconduct. WINE SELLERS' RIGHTS. Wellington, Tuesday. Giving judgment, to-day in the matter of an application for a, rehearing of the case of 'Mi'ller v. Lamb, Masterton, in which he had held New Zealand wine could not be sold in a -no-licehs.e district, the Chief Justice said there was only one case in the Dominion of a winegrower in a no-license district. The present case, therefore, was a special case affecting only one person. He nad noi doubt as to the correctness of his recent' decision. The case illustrated the fieed of what he had often advocated—a separate Court of Appeal, as in England, doing nothing else but appeal work. The application for a rehearing was refused. BREACHES OF AWARDS. Wellington, Last Night. In the Magistrate's Court to-day. Mr. W. R. Easelden, S.M., delivered judgment in the case of Walter Newton, Inspector of Awards, v. John James Moore, carrier, of Maranui, an alleged breach of the drivers' award, in that defendant failed to pay wages to his employees weekly, and also failed to pay a driver named Hulley the proper wages specified in the award. It was disclosed in evidence that Hulley had received 25s a week instead of 345." His Worship imposed a fine of 20s on the information relating to Hulley's wages, and another fine of 10s for the failure to pay wages weekly was inflicted. An information alleging that Mrs. Moore (for whom Mr. Lu'ke appeared), a principal in the business of J. Moore and Co., had failed to keep proper books, was withdrawn.
