♦ . BY HIS NEIGHBOR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, 'Tuesday. At an early hour this morning a man named George-Jackson was admitted to the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound in the neck. He states that he had' a heated argument with a neighbor in York street. The other man went inside his house and returned with a" gun and fired at him, the shot entering his back between the shoulders. The wound is serious, 'but it is not expected to prove fatal. Jackson is a married man, 30 years of age, by occupation a fireman; At the Police Court Nicohaus Papeschi was charged with causing George Jackson actual bodily harm by shooting him in the back. He was remanded to Friday.
