Received June 29, 12.15 a.m. Ottawa, June 28. Advices from Stewart are conflicting. Some predict a bigger boom than Klondike, but there is no official information. Northern-bound vessels leaving Vancouver are filled with passengers. Thousands of claims have been staked in Portland Canal district. The ''Morning Post" correspondent at Victoria reports that the find consists of a big reef of iron pyrites and porphyry containing free milling gold, but the find is not a rich one.
