STRATFORD DAY BY DAY.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Stratford, Last Night Mr. Watts, who is leaving the district, was "farewelled" at the Tuna school last night, when advantage wag taken of the opportunity to present him with a set of carvers. Influenza is still very prevalent here. In fact, doctors say they have not known so much sickness to be about for a long time. 'At the half-yearly meeting of the local Foresters' Lodge last night the following officers were installed by D&R. Bro. J. G. Russell, of Waitara:— C.R., Bro. E. H. Kivell; S.C.R., Bro. T. X. Pay ten; Treasurer, Bro. J. W. Simmons; S.W., Bro. F. W. Davies; J.W., Bro. F. H. WiUrie; 5.8., Bro. W. Sullivan; J. 8., Bro. G. Burgess, P.D.C.R. Bro. B. V. Kivell was elected as delegate to attend the next district meeting at Inglewood.
