A CHIEF'S SURRENDER.
IN SOUTHERN' NIGERIA. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, June 26. Major Bruce's forces m Southern Nigeria secured the surrender in dense bush of the chief Nzekive and 200 of his followers. Lieutenant Chapman was unfortunately killed at tlie last moment. The surrender of the chief, with several towns, terminates the trouble with the "secret ones," so called from their silent fighting.
