Captain Cresswell, of the Common* wealth Naval Forces, seen in regard to the invitation to Admiral Sir K. Henderson to advise on the naval defence of the Commonwealth, said: "The fact that Admiral Henderson has on him the imprimatur of Sir Arthur Knyvet Wilson, the First Sea Lord of the Admiralty, means that lie is likely to be one of 'the very best men for the work. I think it is an excellent proposal in every way. The Admiralty were asked to choose a man, and he is their choice. I know that what the Government was anxious to get was the very best advice that pos- , sibly could be obtained.
