AMUSEMENTS.

I MR. FRED. STEVENS' BENEFIT. An excellent programme lias been arranged for the entertainment on Tuesday evening, including some beautiful pictures (procured for the occasion) by the Biograph Company. Besides the pictures, which are always an entertainment in themselves, there will be several songs by the most papular local singers, and also two quartettes, one by members of the Liedertafel Society and one by the Misses Buckmann and Messrs. Southall and McEwen. Mv. Will. Perry's well-known orchestra will contribute a couple of items, as will also Mr. Cornwail's banjo quartette (Messrs. Cornwall, Medley, Bayly, and McEwen), so that with such a programme lovers of good music can look forward to an excellent musical treat. The entertainment will conclude with the comedietta "Mrs. Hilary Regrets,'' by members of Mr. Jack Easther's Dramatic Society. The popularity of this society as entertainers is too well known to need comment, as the production by them of "The Magistrate" and '"Our Boys" is still fresh in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to be present. The box plan is now open at Messrs. Collier and Co.'s. All who have bought 3s tickets can reserve their seats without extra charge by applying at the booking office.
