AUCKLAND SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press, Association. Auckland, June 25. In the case against Percy Harry Ellis, Harbor Board storeman,' charged on fourteen counts with theft of benzine, after a record trial of eleven days, the jury disagreed, and a new trial was ordered. Justice Chapman granted a decree nisi in the case Robert Archibald Denniston, engineer, v. Susan Jane Denniston, formerly of Dunedin, on the ground of misconduct. At the Supreme Court, Justice Chapman sentenced Haina Horomana, charged'with incest, to five years' hard labor. WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Wellington, Saturday. At the Supreme Court to-day a Maori youth named Munga Naihonga was sentenced by the Chief Justice to nine months' imprisonment for cattle stealing at Hawera. " NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. The following cases have been set down for hearing at the New Plymouth sessions of the Supreme Court, which open to-morrow, before Mr. Justice Chapman:— , CRIMINAL TRIALS. Rex v. Charles Buckland, charge of assault causing actual bodily harm. Rex v, Albert Pickup Woods and Stanley Appleby, charges of sheep stealing. CIVIL CASES. J. W. Wilson and M. O. Lawson, trading as J. W. Wilson and Co. (Mr. Grey), v. John Skinner and E. I. K. Skinner (Mr. Qttillliam), claim for £125 commission on sale by way of exchange. William Guy Clemoes (Mr. G. H. Ryan) v. William D. G. Clemoes (Mr. Barton), claim for possession of land and £lO mesne profits^ William Greenwood (Mr. R. Spence) v. William Schmidt and William Bellshaw (Mr. Quiiiliam), claim £259 damages for breach of warranty of land. George Fell, Hutchinson (Mr. Halliwell) v. Leonard G. Grace and Thomas H. Gillman (Mr. Barton), claim for injunction, accounts, delivering up of vacuum pump and damages for infringement of letters'patent. DIVORCE. Mary Ann Beattie (Mr. Hutchen) v. Adam 'Beattie. Eleanor Rodger (Mr. Halliwell) v. Hugh Rodger (Mr. Welsh). John Samuel Duncan (Mr. Spence) v.Sophia Maud Duncan and Henry C. lEades (co-respondent). BANKRUPTCY. Re Thomas Clare, public examination; motions for discharge of Frederick W. White. Wm. Charles Noble, Helen Brown, Albert Edward Madgwick, El' len Flvnn and Wm. R.'.Mackay.
