To be Knights Bachelor:—The Hon. Charles Christopher Bowen, Speaker of the Legislative Council of New Zealand, and Major-General T. Bilbe Robinson, Agent-General for Queensland. To be Companions of the Order of St. Michael and St. George:—Mr. Atlee A. Hunit, Secretary for External Affairs for the Commonwealth, and Professor Edgeworth David, of Sydney. Received June 25, 12.35 a.m. London, June 24.
The following, among other honors, are Gazetted on the occasion of the day set apart for the celebrations of the late King's birthday:— Peers: Right Hon. Richard Causton, Sirs Walter Foster, H. E. Kearley, Weetman, Pearson, William Henry Holland, Christopher Furness and Freeman Thomas.
Baronets include the following: Commoners: Messrs. Fuller, Mond, Warner, Walton, Harold, Harmsworth, Adolf Tuck.
Knights include: Messrs. Inglis (chairman of the Stock Exchange), Alfred East, Quiller, Couch, Hain (president of the Chamber of Shipping), Macalpine (president of the Baptists' Union), and Dr. Lunn (promoter of international gatherings).
