MASONIC.
The installation of Bro. R. M. Conwy as Worshipful Master of Lodge Da Burgh Adams took place in St. Mary's Schoolroom last night. There was a very large attendance of visiting brethren, including officers and members of Ngamotu and Mt. Egmont lodges, Ao* rangi Lodge (Wellington) and others. Among those present were R.W, Bros. T. C. Fookes (Pro. Grand Master) and F. P. Corkill (Past Pro. Grand Master of Taranaki). R.W. Bros. Jack (Pro. Grand Warden.) and Beauchamp Pratt*. (Pro. Grand Sec. of the Pro. Grand Lodge of England). V.W. Bro. A. Goldwater ably conducted the Installation ceremony. He was assisted by Wor. Bros. Beadle and Nixon. V.W. Bro. Beauchamp Pratts, and Wor. Bro. L. Hammond, gave the addresses, llio W.M. invested his officers as follow*: 1.P.M., Wor. Bro. W. C. Nixon; &W., Bro. R. 0. Ellis; J.W., Bro. W. J. T. Wiggs; treasurer, R.W. Bro. J. Ellis; secretary, V.W. Bro. A. Goldwater; Dir. of Ceremonies, Wor. Bro. & Whittlej I Chaplain:, R.W. Bro. W. F. Brooking; organist, Bro. E. A. Golding; SD., Bro. '• R. J. Deare; J.D., Bro. J. W. Haydeta; , 1.G., Bro. H. Southatn; 8.5., Bro. B. J. Sole; 3.8., Bro. A.A. Woollerj Asst. Stewards, Bros. J. Toms and J. Bow- ■, man; Tyler, Wop. Bro. J. Aster. At the conclusion of the ceremony tite > vieitors assembled at the Old Masonie Hall by invitation of lie Se Burgh . Adams Lodge, and full' justice was dots to an excellent banquet, admirably ca- , tered for by Bro. A. A. Wooler. A mam- ; ber of toasts were honored, but owing to the lodges being in mourning for tfio •' late King, no musical programme was rendered.
