A meeting of the North Taranaki ~ CHuket Association was held on Wednesday evening, when there was a fair attendance of delegates present. The secretary, Mr. A. Bewley, presetted the statement Qf accounts in I connection with the match against the Aurffraliams. It stowed that the total 1 receipts from gates; etc., and including 1 £4' .profit from the cricket dance, amounted to £O7 lOs 3d. The total expenditure was £J2fl Is 2d, including £ls paid to the New Zealand Crickfit Council for the match, and also cost of trip irf the Australians to the mountain. ■lt was decided to make a call on tlie guarantors of !)s in the £ 1 to meet ttoe 1 deficiency of £54 Us 3d. It was pointed out that although the anatcii' had proved a source of enjoyment to a great many enthusiasts, the attendance of the* public generally fed been disappointing. Guarantors will beadvised by circular of their lability, wlwii paynrant cam ibe made' at Mr. A. Bewlejt's ■office. Hearty votes of thanks were .passed to Mr.*E. Whittle for his assistance En financing the match, and to tire iladiesi who assisted so well with the •cricket dance. The Sports Ground Committee notiiffed the Association that it now required, (payment to be made for the use of match practice wickets on the Sports Ground for last season. In order to ■clear the matter up it was resolved' that the members of the club which had not paid" its .contribution;'of £7 to the ground fund be placed on the forfeit list, if the arwsunt is not ipaid within one niOTth.
