PORT 'OP LONDON BILL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, June 21. The Port of London Rates Bill was Tead a second time in the House of Commons. Mr. Sydney Buxton, President of the Board of Trade, stated that the Board accepted Lord St. Aldwyn's schedule providing a minimum of £524.000 instead of £750,000 as originally suggested. Members for fishing, coalirr' "id midland constituencies strongly • >posed the Bill. Mr. Jowett, member for Bradford, said that the rate on wool would bear hardly on the woollen trade of the West Riding of Yorkshire. Mr. Bonar Law, member for CamberJTell, heartily supported the Bill.
