BUSINESS NOTICES.
Owing to the Liedertafel concert being held this evening, the usual weekly practice of the New Plymouth Operatic Society has been postponed until to-morrow (Thursday) evening. Webster' Bros, sell stock at their Omata yards on Friday next. We notice that a new motor .garage has been commenced in Devon-street for Mr. T. Bransgrove in camerated concrete. Outside New Plymouth other buildings in course of construction in camerated concrete are: block of shops; Eltham, shop; Hawera, winter show building, additions to Shamrock Hotel. To go up shortly there are also about a dozen buildings ranging from residences to large stores. Truly, camerated concrete has arrived.
We draw special attention to the first column of news on the seventh page of yesterday's (Tuesday morning) Daily News. Read it carefully. It must either interest you or your wife or children. The success that has attended the sale of Blyth's stock speaks very highly for •the intelligence of the purchasing public of New Plymouth. They are quick to know when gooJs are both good and cheap. The premises have been thronged with knowing buyers each day since the sale began. The bargains will not cease until every article is cleared out of the shop.

Owing to the absence of the instructor, the class in freehand and model drawing has been postponed till Thursday evening. Epidemics spread with surprising rapidity, in spite of all precautions. An instance of equally rapid spreading, which it has not been attempted to check, is the reputation of the Busy Cash Drapery Store opposite Carnegie Library, Kingstreet, for selling goods cheaper than elsewhere.
