NEW STEAMSHIP SERVICE.

BOYS FOR THE MERCANTILE MARINE. By Cable—tress Association—Copyright. Sydney, June 21. Mr. Moore, manager of the new Merchant Shippers Steam Ship Line, states that five steamers will be employed, each with a carrying capacity of ten to twelve thousand tons, and fitted with extensive cold storage, to meet the demands of the frozen produce trade. The first steamer is expected here in six or seven months. When the Panama Canal is completed the vessels will go to England by that route. The company has submitted a proposal to the Government to train a lumber of boys for the mercantile marine on the new liners.
