LONDON MARKETS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, June 17. Wheat markets are steady, but very sensitive to any European crop news. The close was firm on rather less favorable reports from Russia and Roumania. The demand for cargoes is quieter. One was sold at 31s 9d. Australian lots, January-February-March, are offering at 31s Gd; steamer parcels afloat, 31s 9d; spot Australian is dull at 32s 6d to 355. There have been small sales of New Zealand at 31s Gd to 33s <sd. Flour is flat at about 25s Gd on spot. Nathing is doing for shipment. Barley is neglected. New Zealand Chevalier, 22s Gd. Oats are dull and unchanged. La Plata July shipments, 12s Gy a d. Butter is ( net. Colonial is firm hticl unchanged. The bulk of arrivals is being stored. Cheese is firmer. New Zealand white, 57s 9d to 5Ss: ooIot;h1, 55s to 5Gs.
