CAPITAL IN AUSTRALIA.
NOT AFRAID OF THE LABOR MINISTRY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received June 19,' 5 p.m. London, June 18. The chairman of the Australian Estates Mortgage Company, speaking at a meeting of the company, said that though the Labor party's attitude during the past towards capital was not calculated to engender confidence, there was no need to feel serious misgivings at the present position of affairs. He believed events would entirely falsify predictions that the new Government would evidently attack capital. The Government's attitude towards immigration and defence was a happy augury that they would follow a wise and patriotic policy and do what was best for the Commonwealth as a whole, irrespective of class con siderations. .
