COST OF PROVISIONS.
PROTEST BY RESTAURATEURS. By Cable—Press Vienna, June 16. Two thousand proprietors of restaurants assembled in the front of Parliament Buildings here and protested against the cost of provisions, which has risen 50 per cent. , They urged that the Servian and Roumanian irontiers should be opened to the importation of cattle, and suggested the erection of cold stores by the State.
