THE DRUCE CASE.
PURSUING CALDWELL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, June 16. Application has been made to the Federal Courts for the extradition of Robert Caldwell, against whom, in 1908, "a warrant for perjury was issued in connection with swearing ,an affi davit in the famous Druce case, in which Oruce claimed to be heir to the estate of the Duke of Portland. Caldwell, who is still in the State Asylum, and is sometimes kept in tihe padded cells, failed to appear. The British Government do not intend to drop the case until Caldwell is certified as incurable.
