SIR CHARLES HARDINGS APPOINTED. By Cable—i'ress Association—Copyright. London, June 10. It is officially notified that sir Charles Hardinge, P.C., ex-Ambassador at St. Petersburg, has been appointed Viceroy of India, i-a succession to Lord Minto. Sir Charles Hardinge is a distinguished diplomat, and is a brother to the third Viscount Hardinge. The first Viscount was Commander-in-Chief and Viceroy of India.
