GREAT ACTIVITY AT MOTUROA. THREE BORES RUNNING. On Saturday all three tores of til? Taranaki Petroleum Company gave very satisfactory indications. The mnnager. Mr. Keith,"stated that as far as he knew there had never been more hopeful prospects. Oil was coming from the Birthday well. At No. 2 bore there were very numerous blow-outs, and the oil flowed fast and consistently. At one time the oil was l>eing hurled from the mouth of the bore for over an hour, and during nearly the whole of that time the force was such as to send it over the top of the derrick. With so much oil and stuff being thrown about, working was impossible, and operations had to be suspended. The activity continued during yesterday.
