By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Nominations closed to-day for the Auckland City East bye-election as follows:—Mr. 'Arthur M. 'Myers (Independent Liberal), William Richardson (Prohibitionist and Protectionist). George Davis (Labor)", and George Irving McKnight (Labor). Auckland, Last Night. Mr. Reginald Walter Hill, who was for some time private secretary to Mr. Massey, will contest the Auckland East seat as an unofficial Oppositionist.
