(From Our 'Special Correspondent). Stratford, Last Night. Mr. A. D. Blackett, Major of Biangiora, and at one time a (prominent business mail of Stratford, is on a visit here. The following team will represent the Stratford Golf Club against Hawera on Frid'ay:—J. iStanford, N. Black, S. Spence, J. Bell, P. Fussell, F. Uniacks, E. Eobinson, J. H. Thompson, W. Reader, E. Spence, F. N. Thompson, and F. Wake. There is a regular mess-up in regard to Friday. The (banks, auctioneers, and legal Arms are observing a holiday, but the other business establishments will Ikeep open. As Friday is a statutory, holiday, the confusion is added to. A meeting of the Liberal Association was held last night. A letter was received from the Premier intimating, that he expected to visit Stratford prior to the House meeting. ,
