In the return match, Queensland defeated New South Wales by 8 points to G points. Received June 1, 10.50 p.m. Sydney, Last Night. The weather was s'howery for the •natch N.S.W. v. .Queensland. It was a close game throughout, New South Wales leading 'by a point at half-time. The Queenskinders scored the winning try just before the end. The following players will represent the New Plymouth Banks and Law against Stratford Banks and Law at the Western Park on Friday, commencing at 2 p.m.:— Sa'lway, Hill, J. Grant, Webster, Thompson, A. Grant, Addison, Preshaw, Stowe, West, Bollinger, Pott, Coker, Turnbull, and Molloy; emergencies, Ellis, Monk, and Hoby. THE ASSOCIATION GAME.
