THE ESCAPED CONVICTS

LAID BY THE HEELS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. The two prisoners who escaped on Saturday night from Waipa Prison were arrested .by Constable Neill on Sunday night at 9 o'clock, Seventeen miles along Atiniari road, and were brought to Kotorua. They were charged before the Court to-day and remanded until to-morrow morning. The constable made the prisoners walk to Rotorua, where they arrived tliis morning about 5 o'clock.
