PETROLEUM NEWS.
There was a big blow-out at No. 3 bore on Saturday morning. The oil is flowing freely from No. 2 ■bore, gas being present in considerable quantities. At Wellington on Friday a parcel of Taranaki oil shares sold at 12s.
Nearly all the shares in the Taranaki Oil and Freehold Company have been applied for and allotted, and preparations are now being made for resuming work shortly.
