Playing in the Covo'.uuion Modal contest, the three ;l:e*t scores put up on the Hokowhitu link;, yesterday were:—Mrs. L. Abraham 05, Miss Sybil Abraham 93. Miss VCray 94. The weather was dull and boisterous. NGAMOTU GOLF CLUB. Owing to "the inclement weather prevailing: early in the afternoon on Saturday, the mixed foursomes bogey match was postponed until Saturday next, 4th. June. Fresh entries must be sent in to the Match Committee before 4 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd June, and all players entered for last Saturday are required to make fresh enti-ics. The entries close on Thursday instead of Friday, owing to Friday being a bank holiday. As the days are short, only sixteen holes will be played, No. 2 hole, "the swamp," being left out in each round'. Players are asked to endei vor to make an early start.
