TWO CONVICTS ESCAPE

ALL AVAILABLE POLICE OUT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. Rees Nicholson and Arthur George Hellemen (two prisoners) escaped from Waipa on Saturday nijjit. One of the escapees hasi only been in prison for about four weeks, and was convicted for housebreaking and arson respectively. All available police are scouring the ' country. A warder from Waipa is also in the search. The escapees took food and blankets ; with them.
