O'BRIEN AND REDMOND FACTIONS. POLICE FIRE ON THE MOB. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, May 27. Fierce riots took place at Newmarket (County Cork) between the O'Brien and Eedmond factions. The police were powerless to atop it, and a number of houses were wrecked. Finally the police fired on the mob, and one man was shot dead.
