THE WINTER SHOW.
■ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT. Entries for the Taranaki Winter Show, to be held at New Plymouth on Juiie 9, 10 and 11, close to-night at 9 o'clock with the secretary, Mr. E. P. Webster. The show promises to be a great success. Up to the present almost every foot of the large amount of space available in the Hall and adjoining street has been taken up by intending exhibitors. Exhibits will include milking machines, dairy utensils, and all articles of interest to farmers and settlers. The Employers' Association's exhibit will be alone well worth going to see. A number of local business l people are also inakdisplays of their goods. The Drill Hall will be open on Tuesday to enable exhibitors to arrange their stands or collections of produce. There are a large number of special prizes, received since the schedule has been printed, to be allocated by the committee. This will make the prize money in all clashes well worth winning. Excellent support ii<ts been received from, all who have been asked to assist in the Winter Show scheme, and its success is assured. Exenrsfon fares and trains' are now being arranged, to enable the public to visit the show from all down the line at the lowest cost.
