AUSTRALIAN BUTTER.
"A SCREW LOOSE." i By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received May 28, 1 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. The Minister of Customs will hold a searching enquiry with regard to the factories responsible for snipping the butter about which complaints of excessive moisture have been received from London. The Minister says there is no adequate exiplanation of a climatic or other condition which sufficiently accounts for Australian butter bringing much less in London than New Zealand .butter. "There must be a screw loose somewhere," says the Minister, "and the sooner it is tightened up the better."
