DOMINION DAIRY SHOW.

Splendid progress is being made with' the huge block of concrete 'buildings in Hawera for the South Taranaki Winter Show Company. The building when completed will he the largest in the Dominion erected in camerated concrete, and will draw quite a number of visitors to see the building alone, apart from the show. The entries for the dairy produce section are excellent, and a splendid exhibit will be benched. Applications for space are being received daily from all parts. All 1 the" principal dairy and farm implement manufacturers will he represented; 300 feet of shafting is •being installed for machinery in motion, and a total frontage of si>o feet of machinery will be on exhibition in the machinery hall. The Department of Agriculture have decided to make a splendid exhibit of grasses and farm produce from the Moumaha'ki State Farm, lit the school districts fanners' competition a stroms class is exnected. The chairmen of tlie various school committees are forming committees in their centres, and quite a little friendly rivalry will be excited. Entries close for all classes on 25th June. Schedules can .be had by applying to the Secretary, Box 47, Hawera. '
