TORTURES IN MOROCCO

Mulai Ha fid, the Sultan of Morocco, has informed the Powers of his determination to abolish the tortures practised in his kingdom. The decision is attributed to Britain's refusal to receive Morocco's Ambassadors owing to the tortures.
