WOMEN ON THE .JURY. By ©able—Press Association—Copyright London, May 25. Mr. Cecil Chapman, Magistrate, giving evidence before the Divorce Commission, advocated that six women should serve on juries in divorce cases. The Bishop of London, -presiding at the London Diocesan Conference, said the Church must oppose extension to tlie poor of facilities which proved a curse to the rich. Tf every Count) - Court was turned into a Divorce Court it became a matter for discussion whether in time to come the civil authority would jiot conduct all marriages, leaving the blessings of the Church to those only who accepted the -Church's rule.
