At Moturoa all day on Tuesday and Wednesday the ao. 3*' bore showed great activity, and the derrick was- partially flooded with oil «nd water. A good quantity of oil was secured. Boring was proceeded with intermittently, when the activities permitted. -At Xo. 2 nore the boiler recently purchased for the conveying of gas to the furnace 'has been put in place and connected up ready for use. The casing at tins well ha* been towered to the lottorn, and drilling will be recommended to-day. The quality of oil at present eoiniii|f from this bore is meeting with wry favorable eomnient. It appears to contain a largo percentage of petroleum was.
