American and European companies will be given the opportunity to tender, and the Prime Minister stated that no progress can be reported in this respect until tenders have been received. CHRISTCHURCH GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS. Christchurch, May 24. The Government's intentions regarding the erection of State buildings in Christchurch have, the Premier says,| undergone a change. It is now pro-j posed to concentrate all departments except the railways and the post office, asi far as .possible, and a big block will therefore be erected. It is anticipated the work of erection will occupy two years.
